Phase 0 – Soft Launch
Currently, Project Barakah is in its soft launch phase, where we are laying the groundwork for the hard launch. This phase focuses on raising awareness, building key connections, and gathering support for the journey ahead. We are engaging with local communities, initiating small impactful projects, and conducting vital research to build credibility. During this stage, we are creating and brainstorming effective metrics to measure our impact, ensuring that every action we take can be backed by data-driven insights. This research will include developing reports to share with potential donors, stakeholders, and supporters, offering transparency and accountability as we move forward.
Examples of Activities:
• Launching local initiatives to establish a presence and gather community feedback
• Building relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders and partners
• Developing and testing metrics to assess and track our impact
• Producing data-backed reports to showcase progress and demonstrate transparency
• Engaging our community and supporters to refine our approach
What Supporters Can Expect:
During this phase, donors and supporters will have access to exclusive updates on our ongoing research, early community engagement efforts, and pilot projects. They will receive reports on how their support is helping us establish metrics for long-term success and understand the tangible impact of our work, as we build a solid foundation for future initiatives.
Phase 1: Laying the Foundation – Hard launch
In this foundational phase, our primary goal is to build credibility, trust, and a deep understanding of the global challenges we aim to address. Through self-funded global travel, we will visit diverse communities, listen to their stories, and co-create small, impactful pilot projects that will be backed by data and scientific research. This is where we learn, engage, and lay the groundwork for sustainable, long-term change.
Examples of Activities:
• Conducting interviews with community leaders to understand local needs
• Developing pilot programs focused on education, health, and access to resources
• Creating measurable data systems to track the effectiveness of these pilots
What Supporters Can Expect:
Donors and supporters will receive periodic updates about the pilot projects, including detailed reports and the tangible impact their contributions are making. We will share insights, data, and stories from communities to highlight the learnings from this phase.
Phase 2: Expanding Impact Through Action
With Project Barakah officially registered as a nonprofit, we will begin scaling up the initiatives developed during Phase 1. This phase focuses on executing larger, more ambitious projects based on the research and findings from our initial efforts. Our work will expand to new regions, and we will foster global partnerships that help to create lasting solutions to the root causes of poverty and inequality.
Examples of Activities:
• Expanding pilot programs into full-scale community projects
• Forming partnerships with other NGOs, government entities, and local leaders
• Leveraging data to drive decision-making and adjust our projects for maximum impact
What Supporters Can Expect:
Phase 2 will showcase real, data-driven action and results. Supporters will be invited to track the progress of our scaling projects, with access to data dashboards and regular updates. Donors will see how their contributions are being used to bring sustainable solutions to life and will have opportunities to become involved through partnerships or direct engagement with the communities we’re helping.
Phase 3: Creating Lasting Change
Phase 3 is about taking Project Barakah to the next level, ensuring that our work leads to systemic, lasting change. With a solid foundation in place, we will leverage our global partnerships and community-driven strategies to tackle the biggest challenges on a larger scale. This phase will see us expand our reach, with a focus on creating solutions that last for generations.
Examples of Activities:
• Launching large-scale infrastructure and educational initiatives that can serve as models for others
• Implementing long-term policy change advocacy in collaboration with governments and other organizations
• Sharing the results of our work globally to inspire and educate other nonprofits and stakeholders
What Supporters Can Expect:
Donors and supporters will see their contributions lead to transformative, large-scale impacts. As we move toward creating long-term, sustainable solutions, they’ll have the opportunity to engage with thought leadership pieces, success stories, and detailed impact reports.
